MSW Certificate in VAWC
2008-2009 Academic Year
Through its Center on Violence against Women and Children (VAWC), the Rutgers School of Social Work is pleased to offer a certificate program for Masters in Social Work (MSW) students. The certificate program is intended to offer students the opportunity to specialize their advanced year learning on issues of violence against women and children in order to be prepared to enter the field upon graduation. Students accepted for the certificate program will receive notation of completion of the certificate program on their transcripts.
Fall 2008 Availability
Through its Center on Violence against Women and Children (VAWC), the Rutgers School of Social Work is pleased to offer three Verizon Wireless Scholarships to address the critical need for preparing social work professionals to work as executives or advocates working in domestic violence or sexual assault organizations nationwide.
Students who are committed to working on issues of violence against women and children are eligible to apply for this $1500 VAWC scholarship to support their graduate work. Students must be preparing to graduate in May, 2009. Three scholarships will be awarded for the 2008-2009 academic year.
